I may joke about the president, but I trust his judgement. He’s got a lot of expert in economics and medicine consulting him about this reform and I trust his decision.

Nevermind, “taking to the streets” is not the answer. If we were to have another revolution, we would have to revolt differently —

Hehe, you can see him reading off the teleprompter ^^

  4. bigtex501 Says:

So again for YOU liberals.. YOUR party has the “majority” vote and need NO GOP votes at all to pass anything they want to shove down OUR throats… so what’s the “excuse” now???
And DO read the accounts of the Congressional Budget Office reports on the “estimated” costs of the premiums WE will be FORCED to pay!
    Premiums will be HIGHER!

AND…. the polls are STILL showing gains for the GOP and NOT the Dems!
But… 2010 WILL be interesting especially IF the Dems pass ANY of these plans! LOL

  5. JayPhilosopher Says:

If a person is trying to get somewhere and some people block their path, you do not blame the person for not being able to get where they want to go, you blame the people blocking their path. Pres. Obama is trying to get all 47 million covered, at the moment, the Republicans and some Democrats are blocking that proposal, so we can only get 23 million people. Hopefully, these obstructionists will be voted out in 2010 and we can move forward.
Premiums will be lower for all when the bill passes.

  6. bigtex501 Says:

    fraser,
And those on “food stamps” will INCREASE big time as obamer & the Dems FORCE us to buy health care insurance, pay HIGHER taxes, Cap & Trade taxes, a National Sales Tax of up to 20% on TOP of our existing taxes…

Where do I get in line for food stamps when I won’t be able to afford to go to the grocery store????

  7. bigtex501 Says:

    Jay,
YOU miss the fact that YOUR Dem party’s health care bill will STILL leave 24 MILLION people with OUT coverage???
That’s MORE than 1/2 of those 47 MILLION obamer “promised” would get ..”the health care coverage they deserve”????
And did YOU miss the CBO’s report that the FORCED health care insurance that WE MUST buy will be HIGHER and NOT lower as obamer… “families will see a $2,500 DROP in their insurance premiums????
And did YOU know that obamer is STILL using the Patriot Act?

  8. JayPhilosopher Says:

What Bush proved when he took away all rights of all U.S. citizens, by declaring that he could arrest anybody and hold, torture or kill them howsoever he pleased, that there are no “inalienable” rights for anyone.
We can however decide to give rights. If we organize (and I’m talking about the good and decent people of the world, not the neo-Nazi, Fox News loving crazies) we can make healthcare a right for all people in the U.S. just as it is in most industrial countries in the world.

  9. fraserfir19 Says:

AND 37 MILLION PEOPLE ON FOOD STAMPS.

  10. bigtex501 Says:

    NEWS FLASH I
Obamer FINALLY NOW (after 10 months) decides to do something about the economy!!!!
With unemployment at 10.2% (15.7 MILLION)
    AND
TOTAL UNEMPLOYMENT @ 17.5% of the population or 41.4 MILLION PEOPLE!
And MORE of obamers QUICK decisions!!!
4 MONTHS to decide on a DOG???
4 MONTHS to decide to send in troops to Afghanistan!
10 MONTHS to decide the $12 TRILLION deficit is bad!
10 MONTHS to decide IRAN is a threat!
10 MONTHS to decide that the U.S. does NOT have 57 States!

  11. bigtex501 Says:

    NEWS FLASH II
But.. what IS obamer quick to decide???
6.66 SECONDS to decide to support a $2.9 TRILLION health care bill
6.66 SECONDS to decide to sign the $787 Billion Stupidlus Bill!
6.66 SECONDS to decide on a PARTY every night!
6.66 SECONDS to decide to spend $1.6 TRILLION MORE on Fed spending!
6.66 SECONDS to decide on sending $8 BILLION to ACORN!
6.66 SECONDS to decide on the 16 VACATIONS & the $486,956,000 hes spent on VACATIONING!
    AND..
6.66 SECONDS before EVERY LIE he tells!

  12. bigtex501 Says:

    Busi,
And WHAT is it with you liberals when YOU think that Americans are that STUPID that they cannot “calculate the costs of the bills” or “can’t do basic algebra”???
Did YOU know that YOUR Dem buddies said the same thing about We The People having 72 hours to “read the bills” prior to passage?
But what’s worse….. is ALL the “closed door” meetings YOUR Dem buddies are doing so that We The People won’t know what they’re up to!
What is YOUR party trying to hide????

  13. bigtex501 Says:

    Busi,
I’ll give you a hint on the polling source…. it was the SAME one that had the MOST accurate polling data when YOUR buddy obamer won!
And since you have a problem reading English, the “60%” is from likely voters and NOT from anyone like your buddies in the liberal media like to use! LOL

And I’ll tell YOU where “single payer” is in the bill.. when YOU can tell me where 100% of Americans will ALL have health insurance coverage in the bill as you buddy obamer promised!

  14. lildwayne21 Says:

Health care is a privilege you have to work hard for. It’s not an inalienable right that you’re entitled to when you’re born.

  16. Troublesome1776 Says:

To answer your question, I will never trust government nor any other corporation with my health or my family’s health.

  17. korriban129 Says:

You did not address my argument. I am not arguing on the points that you have made, I am strictly talking about the health care measure before the Senate. Again: health care is not a right and redistribution of wealth is not an acceptable means of funding this measure.

  18. Troublesome1776 Says:

All I know is the U.S. is no more if Obama signs that Copenhagen Treaty. If you think Americans started an uproar over healthcare reform, if he signs that treaty, you ain’t seen nothing yet…..

  19. BusinessIDBAI Says:

Bigtex501, interested in seeing your sources for your statistics. Could you also do me a favor and LOOK at the bills and tell me where a single payer system is?

60% say the bill will increase costs? 60% of what? Regular people? Most average Americans can’t do basic algebra, let alone calculate costs of a bill.

  20. BusinessIDBAI Says:

    @Korriban129

Oh, but you’re perfectly okay with trickle down economics right? You’re perfectly okay with multi-national corporations being unquestionable in what they do, and with no accountability for their actions.

How well have those tax cuts for the rich worked so far? Look at history, you’ll find out how the strength of an economy is based on the strength of the middle class.

  21. korriban129 Says:

Mr. Biden, I will never support a program that steals from the haves to give to the have nots. You have no justification for this theft. People have to work for health care, it is not a right. It is not a right to take from some to give to others. Shame on you! Shame on this attempt to steal from the pockets of the middle class (because there are not enough rich to pay for this). I cannot wait for 2012 to vote this administration out and 2010 to clean out Congress.

  22. Retardigion Says:

    Hell yes they are Jay!!

I think Glenn Beck fans should all get a free one-way trip to Vietghanistan since they want to nation-build it — why not turn it into a nation of whiny retards without any common sense or even a shred of decency or compassion for their fellow human beings.

  23. Retardigion Says:

We are headed for an ice age you stupid fuck! But first the warming will melt the polar caps, the cold water influx will collapse the gulf stream circulation and ocean levels will continue to rise… but I guess you figure you can just switch to selling everyone gas for their BOATS instead of their cars then, eh?
You fucking liars burn me the fuck up!

  24. JayPhilosopher Says:

Good analogy, except the disheveled homeless man does not pose a threat to ordinary citizens, while the viewers of Fox News represent a fascist movement that are a threat to ordinary citizens in the United States and throughout the world.

  25. JayPhilosopher Says:

You remind me of Fox News. You tell 15 lies at a time, then when accused of lying, you tell 20 new lies, including the claim you never tell lies.

Fortunately, we live in the age of the internet, where anyone can check and see each lie. After two or three times, one simply sees that the best course of action is to ignor the lies and respond only to posters interested in truth.
